Giving & Volunteering
During the current global health crisis, Washington Hospital Healthcare
System has led the way in caring for southern Alameda County. Our physicians
and nurses have spared no effort to make sure patients hospitalized because
of the pandemic receive the latest medical treatment and medications recommended
by the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta.
We invite you to join the hundreds of donors who have shown their support
of the medical staff and clinical care teams by contributing financially,
or donating personal protective equipment (PPE), or simply buying a meal
for the staff on the frontlines. Since its beginning in 1983, Washington
Hospital Healthcare Foundation has been proud to have a community of donors
committed to maintaining the margin of excellence that has always been
the hallmark of Washington Hospital.
Never has the support of donors been more critical than now, during the
COVID-19 pandemic. The additional expense incurred by the Hospital to
ensure an adequate supply of PPE, coupled with the loss of revenue from
postponed surgical procedures has had profound consequences.
Please consider supporting Washington Hospital by making a donation today.
