The Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation is the administrator of the Dr. Albert V. Assali Scholarship, which is awarded annually to a high school senior or college student who is pursuing higher education in the field of medicine. The scholarship aims to further the field of medicine by supporting the education of local pre-med track college students from the Tri-City Area. The scholarship is intended to continue the legacy of Dr. Albert V. Assali, his belief in the importance of education and his passion for the field of medicine. Application is closed.
Each year the Gallacher Family generously awards scholarships to students pursuing higher education in a science related field, in memory of Dr. Douglas Gallacher, who was a radiologist at Washington Hospital for 27 years. We are pleased to announce this year’s awardees and thank all those who applied.
