Donor Spotlight

We’d like to spotlight our generous donors, Dale Hardware and Fremont Bank whom we consider part of the Washington Hospital Family.

Dale Hardware, family owned and operated and longtime community business, recently made a generous donation to the Foundation of $10,500.00 as part of their annul round up initiative in support of Maternal and Child Health programs at Washington Hospital. Funds raised from will ensure a positive and holistic experience for families in the birthing center, maternal & child education center, prenatal diagnostic center and the special care nursery. In addition, gifts also support low-income families, provide free and low-cost perinatal education for expectant mothers, advocacy for maternal mental health awareness and support for grieving families experiencing fetal loss.

Fremont Bank has donated more than $4 million to fund key initiatives from free screenings to our state-of-the art Morris Hyman Critical Care Pavilion to save lives and improve the health of the Tri-City residents since the inception of Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation in 1983 . This unparalleled record of corporate citizenship has enabled Washington Hospital to provide highest quality of healthcare delivery in southern Alameda County.

We received a grant of $250,000 to help support on-site COVID-19 community vaccination clinic, which opened in February. The funds enable our staff to go further with our vaccination outreach while securing the much-needed personal protective equipment for our staff and patients in our ongoing effort to keep everyone safe and healthy.
