With the generosity of our community, Washington Hospital Foundation was able to rapidly fund numerous pieces of urgent equipment to support the Hospital’s COVID-19 response efforts, including:

High-efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filters & Negative Air Pressure Equipment
Our community funded dozens of HEPA units and 10 negative air pressure machines to capture and slow the circulation of COVID-19 particulates.

Powered respirators for staff and other lifesaving personal protective equipment (PPE)
Donors helped purchase thousands of units of PPE, including 273 Halo Mask Respirators, thus ensuring that our staff remain safe as they respond to the needs of COVID-19 patients.

Medical equipment to enhance care for COVID-19 patients
As cases surged, our donors stepped in to provide additional equipment, including bladder scanners, glucometers and reclining phlebotomy chairs, all to ensure our patients continued to receive safe, high-quality care.
