Debbie Jackson PortraitDebbie Jackson

President

Debbie joined the Washington Hospital Service League 14 years ago. Looking for a way to give back to her community, she began to train in the Newborn Photography area but soon discovered she would be better suited in the New Parent Birthing Tours, an activity that allowed her to volunteer while continuing to work. Debbie continued with the birthing tours and special projects during those years, but after retiring, she wanted to be more involved in Volunteer Services.

After learning a great deal more about all the contributions the Service League makes to Washington Hospital, she became involved by volunteering to be on the Nominating Committee, which led to her first year on the Board of Directors as 2nd Vice President for two years. Now after serving two years as Washington Hospital Service League President, she is continuing for a third term and looking forward to 2017 with a focus on growth and development of the Service League. In addition, Debbie has become the Gift Shop Manager, which keeps her quite busy. After her term, she will be directing her attention to the Hospital's Gift Shop, which she looks to develop as the Hospital grows.

In her spare time, Debbie enjoys entertaining family and friends, and spending time with them. You might find her on the lake, enjoying time in the garden or just taking in a San Francisco Giants game with her husband.
