Top Hat Gala to be Biggest One Yet!
Join us as we celebrate 60 years of excellence at
Washington Hospital Healthcare System
Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation will host the 32nd annual Top
Hat Gala on Saturday, October 13. The event will once again take place
under the grand tent at 2500 Mowry Ave., starting with a reception at
6 p.m., followed by dinner, entertainment and dancing from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.
This year, proceeds from Top Hat will underwrite the purchase of medical
equipment that will bring the Morris Hyman Critical Care Pavilion to life.
With your help, the physicians and nurses working the new intensive care
unit and emergency department will have the tools they need to care for
patients in a state-of-the-art setting.
When it opens later in 2018, the Morris Hyman Critical Care Pavilion will
offer family-centered care in a setting full of natural light and cutting-edge
technology. By joining us at Top Hat, you are investing in the health
and wellness of our entire community.
This glamorous evening will begin with a hosted cocktail reception under
the stars, followed by an elegant four-course dinner under the grand tent.
Dinner entertainment will feature world renowned Beach Blanket Babylon
-- one of San Francisco's most popular attractions. After the dinner
entertainment, guests can dance the night away or enjoy conversation and
a nightcap in the Jazz Lounge.
Sponsorship opportunities include a rare opportunity to network with more than 700 top leaders and
executives from a variety of industries including health care, insurance,
banking, bio pharma, tech and more. We welcome your support.
This special anniversary gala is chaired by Dr. Carmencita Agcaoili, MD,
FCCP, Director, Intensivist Program and Medical Director, Critical Care
Units; Marsha Badella, Foundation Trustee and Community Activist; and
Dr. Kadeer Halimi, DO, Medical Director of Emergency Department, Emergency
Medicine Section Chair and Assistant Chair, Department of Medicine.
They hope to raise a record amount from Top Hat to help pruchase technology
and equipment for the Morris Hyman Critical Care Pavilion. Over the past
31 years, Top Hat has contributed more than $2.8 million for health care
services at Washington Hospital. Foundation President Helen Kennedy says
that number offers an incredible opportunity.
"We would like to pass the $3 million mark this year! Please join
us as a sponsor or guest, and I guarantee you will feel great having supported
the health of our community," Kennedy said.
