We’d like to spotlight one of our generous donors,
Fremont Bank, whom we consider part of the Washington Hospital Family. Since the inception
of Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation in 1983, Fremont Bank has
donated more than $4 million to fund key initiatives from free screenings
to our state-of-the art Morris Hyman Critical Care Pavilion to save lives
and improve the health of the Tri-City residents. This unparalleled record
of corporate citizenship has enabled Washington Hospital to provide highest
quality of healthcare delivery in southern Alameda County.
We recently received a grant of $250,000 to help support on-site COVID-19
community vaccination clinic, which opened in February. The funds enable
our staff to go further with our vaccination outreach while securing the
much-needed personal protective equipment for our staff and patients in
our ongoing effort to keep everyone safe and healthy.
