Bruce Lin received his B.A in Biology and Computer Science at Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. He studied medicine at the University of Vermont Medical School, receiving his M.D. in 1995. This was followed by a transitional medicine internship and a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University of Chicago Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois from 1995-2000. Because of his interest in Interventional Radiology (IR), Dr. Bruce Lin, then did a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology in 2000-2001. He was Director of Interventional Radiology (IR) for Rush-Copley Medical Center in IL for several years before being recruited to CA as IR director at Salinas Valley Radiologists. Dr. Lin joined our practice in April of 2008. He is board certified in Radiology with Advanced Qualifications (CAQ) in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Washington Radiologists Medical Group is now able to provide a comprehensive Interventional Radiology Service. This includes advanced therapies such as complex arterial and venous revascularization of occlusions/stenoses, kyphoplasty, uterine artery embolization, chemoembolization, tumor ablation and embolotherapy for hemorrhage in addition to traditional Interventional Radiology procedures such as dialysis access interventions, hepatobiliary and arterial interventions.
