Foundation Scholarships

2012 Scholarships - TBA

The Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation offers two scholarships in memory of Steven P. Mitchell, M.D. and Franco Beretta, M.D. in the amount of $2,500 each. These scholarships are awarded to a college student who is pursuing a medical degree. All applicants must be enrolled in or have proof of acceptance to an accredited U.S. Medical School and must be a resident or former resident of the Washington Township Health Care District or have significant ties to the District.

Applicants must provide the following information to be reviewed by the scholarship committee:

• Scholarship Application
• Three Letters of Recommendation
• Essay Qualities of a Good Physician
• Proof of Residency
