Free Baby n Me Support Group
Trading tips in this relaxed support group is an excellent way to enhance your transition into parenthood. Come as you are and as often as you like.
When: Wednesdays and Thursdays
Time: 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Becoming New Parents
Do you want to feel more confident when taking your new baby home? This one-time, three-hour workshop offers sensible tips, demonstrations, and information on caring for your infant in those first important months.
Fee: $50

Big Brother, Big Sister
Designed for children three years of age and above. This entertaining class helps siblings prepare for the arrival of a new baby.
Fee: $30

Sibling Preparation
If you choose to have your children attend the birth of their sibling, these private sessions provide an excellent orientation. Call for appointment.

Free Birthing Center Tour
Scheduled for the last trimester of pregnancy, this is a tour for expectant parents and their families (children over age three welcome). Registration is required.

Breastfeeding Support
Our certified Lactation Educators and Consultants offer support to breastfeeding and back to work moms with low cost private visits by appointment, classes, clinics and a FREE advice line. Latch Clinic: Group support for positioning and latch. Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 a.m.

Beyond Newborn Clinic: Wednesdays at 11 a.m.

Prenatal Breastfeeding Class: Learn the basics for successful breastfeeding in this 2 1/2 hour class. (Fee: $40)

Back to Work Breastfeeding Class: By appointment on a Wednesday prior to Beyond Newborn Clinic. Fee: $35

Lactation Center: Breast pumps and breastfeeding accessories are for sale or rent.

CPR for Family and Friends (Infant/Child CPR)
This is an American Heart Association course that teaches adults how to relieve choking and how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an infant or child. Non-certified.
Fee: $30

Sign, Say and Play
Did you know babies could learn to communicate by signing before they can talk? Through stimulating activities, songs and play you and your 6 to 12 month infant will learn six to seven signs each week. A six-week series based on Babysigns Inc. or a two-hour adult workshop.
Fee: $140

Infant Massage In this four-week course, learn to communicate your love through touch. Classes are designed for you with your baby, from birth to pre-crawling.
Fee: $65

Free Prenatal Smart Start
A prenatal class for women (and their support person) in their first trimester. Topics include how pregnancy affects your body, nutrition during pregnancy, exercises to help prepare your body for labor, common discomforts and remedies for those discomforts, and danger signs that would indicate alerting your obstetrician. The course offers lively discussion, informational take-home packets and a question and answer period.

Prepared Childbirth
Intended for couples in the last trimester of pregnancy, this four-week series provides information on many labor preparation topics. Subjects include signs and symptoms of labor, stages of labor, childbirth techniques, relaxation and breathing, the coach's role, analgesics and anesthetics, cesarean birth, and postpartum recovery tips.
Fee: $150

Prepared Childbirth/Refresher
This abbreviated version of our Prepared Childbirth class is designed for the mother and coach who have both taken Prepared Childbirth classes within the last three to five years.
Fee: $75

Prepared Childbirth/Comprehensive Package
A little bit of everything offered in an attractive pricing package. Four weeks of Prepared Childbirth is combined with a seperate Prenatal Breastfeeding class and Becoming New Parents.
Fee: $175

Prepared Childbirth/Intensive
This class covers the same curriculum as the Prepared Childbirth Traditional class but in two, all day sessions, usually on Sunday.
Fee: $150

New Parents Package
An attractive pricing package which includes Prepared Childbirth/Intensive and Becoming New Parents.
Fee: $175

Mastering Multiples: We'll help you master multiples from delivery to breastfeeding (designed to be taken in addition to a Prepared Childbirth class). Scheduled individually after completion of a Prepared Childbirth class. Call for an appointment. Fee: $50

Prenatal Exercise
This exercise program uses stretching, low impact cardio exercise, mild resistive exercise, yoga and relaxation to promote flexibility, strength, and improve posture and balance during your pregnancy. Fee: $60 or $110
